FIND HAPPINESS WITH GAIAM TV

Sunday, December 9, 2012
The New Year is approaching and we all know that with the new year come new promises to ourselves about what we will do in the future, and pay close attention to what impacts our happiness. Whether it be to try a new hairstyle, find a new job, decide on a career, lose a few lbs, travel more often, normally we all come to this grand conclusion about how we want to live our lives moving forward.

I wanted to share with you this piece from Academy Award-nominated director Roko Belic. Happy takes us on a journey from the swamps of Louisiana to the slums of Kolkata in search of what really makes people happy. Combining real life stories from around the world and powerful interviews with leading scientists in happiness research, Happy explores the secrets behind our most valued emotion.

This got me thinking, what are some things that I want in 2013 that I can commit to and that will make me happy: growth in my career, a healthy lifestyle, more traveling, more quality time with the family, write more often, and meet and interact with new people. Take a peak at some of my favorite memories of 2012!

With over 2K titles, Gaiam TV is like Netflix but more so for the mind, body and spirit!
