Thursday night Levi kicked off it's 'Levi'sR Curve ID' event in Manhattan. The event was a blast! Nothing like a great pair of jeans, right? The one thing I hate shopping for is jeans. They never seem to fit just right. You pick a few out, walk to the dressing room and say a prayer before you attempt to try it on. When they don't fit, it's the ultimate frustration, when they do fit it's a sigh of relief.
Levi has the right idea, "It's about shape, not size." I couldn't agree more. Women have different proportions, shapes and sizes - it's tough sometimes to find a jean that fits your body the way that you'd like. Levi is offering three custom fits of the new line — Slight, Demi and Bold Curve. So, what's your Levin's Curve ID?

Levi’s® Fit and Curve ID expert, Kris Tulin is measuring one of the demo models, the Levi’s® Curve ID fit program is designed to consider a woman’s body shape and degree of curve, as opposed to just her waist measurement alone.

I heard about this and am really interested to see if it actually is a better fit/easier fit than other brands...I'm so tired of the constant struggle to find a well-formed pair of jeans. Looks like it was a great event!
ReplyDeleteThat looks interesting, really love the idea!

I need a pair of white and gray jeans. I hope this finally fits my true curves insted of making my butt look flat and boxy.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea. I tried on a regular pair of levi's before because,I heard they fit well. Unfortunately, they didn't suit my body type. I'm going to try again with this new jean sizing.
ReplyDeleteI love levi's jeans they fit really well!
ReplyDeletethis is a really good idea :)

I just read an article about this and am dying to try it out, particularly since I HATE looking for jeans and therefore never wear them! It seems nearly impossible to find a pair that both fit perfectly AND look good on . . . maybe this new project will be revolutionary? I heard they're coming up with a 4th body type in December, and that then the prediction will be that their jeans will work for 96% of women--we'll see!
ReplyDeleteI heard about those jeans. They look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get my hands on a pair of these. I have been seeing ads all in september mags...
ReplyDeleteThis is GENIUS!! I can't wait to try them on!!

I already love the fit of Levi's... they are the only jean I have been wearing for a while now.
ReplyDeleteit's about time more mainstream design houses are catching on. Jeans shopping is a pain for me, and i have a generally straight figure. So I can imagine that women with curvier figures are happy to hear about this :)
