Nikki, Ariel and I hosted another networking event at "The Yard" Soho Grand Hotel in NYC. Over 175 young professionals in Entertainment attended. The promise of rain was broken, lucky us! The outdoor BBQ/networking event for Young Professionals went smoothly as planned. Sad news, Nikki moved to Chicago but it doesn't mean that the party stops. Ariel and I will continue throwing these mixers and with Nikki's support, we've signed on two amazing new members. Not only do we want to continue putting together these networking events but we hope to branch out and do social events as well. Look out for our new company name and website very soon. Happy Sept 1st!

Essence.com caught me joining in on the fun at New York's Central Park last weekend. Summer Stage is a fun event to check out in New York this Summer. Free concerts in the park make for a very cool time. This weekend was one of the best I've had in a while. Let's see if this weekend can top it.
Flip Flips: Old Navy
Mario, Miguel, Chrisette Michele and Tamia performed. Check out the video I made below with a quick glimpse at some of the performances.
Happy Anniversary to the 135th Street Agency who celebrated their 5th anniversary with an exclusive BBQ & Fish Fry last weekend at El Patio of Talay Lounge in New York. Hosted by by radio/tv personality FREE and VIBE’s new editorial director Datwon Thomas, the 4th annual BBQ was attended by a mix of media, industry tastemakers and artists including one of my favorites, Miguel, who you just saw in a clip of at Summer Stage.
Thursday night Levi kicked off it's 'Levi'sR Curve ID' event in Manhattan. The event was a blast! Nothing like a great pair of jeans, right? The one thing I hate shopping for is jeans. They never seem to fit just right. You pick a few out, walk to the dressing room and say a prayer before you attempt to try it on. When they don't fit, it's the ultimate frustration, when they do fit it's a sigh of relief.
Levi has the right idea, "It's about shape, not size." I couldn't agree more. Women have different proportions, shapes and sizes - it's tough sometimes to find a jean that fits your body the way that you'd like. Levi is offering three custom fits of the new line — Slight, Demi and Bold Curve. So, what's your Levin's Curve ID?
Levi’s® Fit and Curve ID expert, Kris Tulin is measuring one of the demo models, the Levi’s® Curve ID fit program is designed to consider a woman’s body shape and degree of curve, as opposed to just her waist measurement alone.
Jennifer Lopez gets covered! Check out J.Lo in the September issue of Glamour Magazine. J. Lo looks extra fierce in her animal print inspired spread. Personally, I don't wear animal print often but when I do I feel extra sultry and spicy!
Dress on the wild side using these animal inspired fashion picks!
Booties come in all shapes and sizes. Different styles, various colors, and can be a great compliment to skinny jeans, skirts, and shorts. You can even show a little toe, booties work in the Summer and in the Winter. They can be casual or dressy. I picked a variety of them for you to check out. Some I like and some I can admire but would probably never wear (i'm honest) so which ones do you think I like? Which ones do you like?
