It's nice out, which means no more hiding under layers of sweaters, loose jeans and jackets. It's Summer! Time for cute dresses, tanks, skirts, shorts, and time to get FIT! I always have the urge to start working out hard when it's warmer outside. I'm sure many of you know that I did P90X last year. For the most part, I've maintained this workout through out the year. Though, this Summer I am trying Shaun T's "Insanity" which is s 60 day long workout plan. The workout is exactly how it sounds... insane! Peep the video below.
So yes, I am on day 5. I think because I am use to doing P90X I've adjusted easily to this workout. It is not easy, I think the more I do it, the better I will be able to do these workout. For now they are brutal. My entire body feels it the next day. I live in New York which is notorious for subway stairs, and they are no fun on this work out plan. For someone who isn't use to doing anything like this, this workout can be a bit of a shock for you and your body. It's a high intense work out. You sweat like crazy and it's important to drink a lot of water and eat a balance diet to see results. I think one of the most important things to do when working out is to make sure you find comfortable clothing to do it in.

I usually like to wear shorts, a tank, sports bra and athletic shoes when I do my at home work out videos like P90X and Insanity. When I run, I like to wear long black leggings/stretch pants, a t-shirt, sports bra and athletic shoes. I like to be comfortable. The last thing I want to think about during my work out is my clothes getting in the way. What do you like to wear when you work out? The Gap and Old Navy both have very comfortable, cute, and affordable athletic wear.
